Swans’ Home Learning Activities

Information to support you – please read:
Hello Swans,
Welcome back after the half term. I hope you have had the opportunity to have a rest and a recharge. It was so wonderful to see you all on the Zoom calls just before half term and it’s clear that you are all have been working so hard at your home learning. I do hope that we will soon hear when we might be able to be all back in the classroom again.
Thank you so much for all the amazing work you are uploading for me to mark and look at. I love seeing what you have been up to.
This half term, we will continue with a similar routine of home learning. Our live lessons will still be half an hour of English and Maths and will follow units of work. In English for the next two weeks, we will be following a unit based on writing newspaper reports and in Maths, a unit on Area, followed by some consolidation of Multiplication and Division.
Don’t forget, if you are not able to join us for the Zoom lessons due to the time implications or technology restrictions, the resources to access the lessons at home will be available on the website. Please let us know if you are experiencing any difficulties as we may be able to help and support you. If you need to, you can always switch parts of the timetable around to accommodate other demands on your time or the need to share resources at home.
