Phonics:

Phase 5 alternative pronunciation for graphemes

Literacy:

LO: To using the spelling rule for adding –s or –es 

S.C. I can add s/es to a noun to make it plural.

Input

Look at an illustration from the text.

Name the animals that we can see. Explain that when we have more than one of something, it is called a plural. Share some examples on the screen.

Discuss the rules for adding –e/ -es.
