Please support George

Dear parents/ carers,

As you may know, this half term's school value is Generosity and the following is about a young man in Year 4, who is showing this value in spades!

George watched a TV programme last week with his Mum about a professional rugby league player called Rob Burrow, who last year was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). You may have also seen him on BBC Breakfast. George found the programme quite upsetting, watching an elite sportsman become almost unable to walk and talk. He decided there and then that he must do something about supporting the charity that helps to fund research into this awful disease.

On Saturday, George has arranged to complete a bike ride, twice around Grafham Water and then during half term, he is also going to complete a sponsored silence!

What a wonderful example of generosity he is setting us. If you would like to support George and could make even a small donation, then your help would be hugely appreciated. You could do this on his funding page which can be found at:

At GBPA, we are super proud George and hope he raises lots of money.

With kind regards,

Mrs Litchfield
