Activity:

Listen to the story in the live Zoom session.

The story is another story from a different culture:

We all Went on Safari by Laurie Krebs. There is a link to the story below if you would like to listen to it again.

The story is a counting story. We are going to plan and write our own counting stories. You will need the planning sheet today and will add to it after each Zoom session to build your sentences.

Activity:

Today you need to choose 5 African animals and add them to your planning sheet. Have a go at segmenting the sounds to spell the animal names yourself.

There is an African animal word mat if you need some ideas.
